The North Carolina Chiropractic Acupuncture-Meridian Council seeks to preserve and enhance the science and art of acupuncture for doctors of chiropractic in North Carolina.  The council seeks to provide and coordinate continuing acupuncture educational opportunities and acupuncture certification standards for North Carolina chiropractic physicians.  Furthermore, the council shall continue to protect our rights to practice acupuncture for chirorpactic physicians in North Carolina, and to maintain cooperative channels of communication with other acupuncture specialists and centers of education.
